Regarding the original poster's comment about Hydras never dropping golds...

I may be a little late in the game here, so bare with me, but here is proof that hydras drop golds very often (i have found golds dropping more consistantly than trolls, as a matter of fact).

A very generous group of hydra.

Awesome guide

One thing i cant make sense of though,

Quote:
Villnar’s Claw is relatively cheap, a guildmate just bought one for 15k recently. You will need to customize the wand to do enough damage to take care of nightmares however, so you might want to stick to the collector’s truncheon if you don’t like the idea of customizing green weapons.

Do you mean taking it to a crafter to get the +20% dmg put on?

The points are there from the superior runes.

Blood magic 5: 3(sup rune)+2 you put 2 into blood so that you have 5 BM and you get eh extra energy from the grim cesta.
Soul REaping: 4 3(sup rune)+1 you just put that one point there because its left over.

That's exactly what he means.

the build is awesome, but what pisses me off about UW is either the aatxes manage to interrupt HB or PS ALOT right when u need it, or the modded Villnars Claw doesnt kill teh nightmares fast enough and they get off rend enchantments just as u hit em to kill em.

Im thinking VS is probably a waste of time vs aatxes, as when i havent had VS with HB + PS my health hardly drops anyway. so should i take guardian and use that when im casting HB or PS etc?

Help? lol

get 20%enchant sword pommel and a creallnated sword etc..
actually 11%lengthens enchantments...
the important part is knowing what effect happens when your switching weapons i have sometimes used a -1 energy idol and have found a few other interesting mods that bring your health to just outside of a max vamp gaze, 55necro haha i like that number

WEll I just did like 30 runs on the Minotaurs and the last 5 times I only got 10 total drops(1,1,2,3,3). the last 2 runs did have a pause of several minutes between them. Perhaps the loots avaialble builds back up as you don't kills things? I beleive there is some sort of anti farming code.

EDIT: Farming protection a real bitch. Went to the griphon area and was only getting 1 drop out of like 8 dead. So Farming protection would appear to be world wide for a character, or perhaps even an account....

Default clothing is possible now greaterlych

I do not know if I missed someone saying this or not and you might know this. I have always loved the scars for my necro for general PvE travels. I just liked the addition energy that they gave me. I have recently bought Factions and took my Necro over to Cantha to play. I quickly found some armor that covers more skin that gives the same stats as the scars. Now you can wear you armor and get you energy bonuses too.

No worries, my way around it has since been to farm for 15-20 minutes then play another character or just leave it on the farmer just idling. This seems to help keep the drop levels up when I go back to farming.

Looking for some advice. Been trying the trolls and having issues. I've been running this build:

Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Guardian
Spiteful Spirit
Shadow of Fear
Mending
Balthazar’s Spirit
Essence Bond

But I've found that I get the first SS off and am able to go for a bit, but right as I go to cast the 2nd SS it gets interupted, even though I've cast Guardian. They get to about 5% of heath left and the first SS runs out and so then I'm just trying to survive until SS comes back. But then PS or HB gets interupted and then I die. I've cast Guardian before every spell.

I don't like SoF because it makes it such that I have to cast SS more times, which then increases the interuptedness. I tried to throw in a long casting offensive spell to bait them and either they don't take the bait or not all of them did the interupt because the SS or PS or HB gets interupted the next casting. I've tried this about 5-6 times in a row and just can't do any good. Any help?

Let you energy build up afther the first SS, then cast guardian, then mending, then SS They will interrupt another mending I think, worth a try.

I only have probs with nightmares... to hell with them...

UW solo is definatelly gone with this build. Especially since rend enchantments casting time has been reduced.

But you can still do other areas. Nahpui quarter for example is still easy peasy with a basic 55 necro.
